DESCRIPTION:Join us for the annual Family Fishing Day at the Cowan Lake Youth Fishing Pond\, located on the south side of the lake off Yankee Road. This event will take place on Father's Day Weekend\, Saturday\, June 14\, 2025\, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. No fishing licenses are required for this weekend. We will provide fishing poles and bait for those who cannot bring their own.\n\n\n\nThere will also be a "First Cast Fishing" workshop for kids aged 6 to 15. Kids who complete all four workshop stations will receive a free rod and reel combo\, as well as a meal voucher for Poppy's Hot Dogs and More food truck (limited quantities available). Additionally\, any child who catches a tagged catfish will receive $25 in vouchers for Poppy's Food Truck.\n\n\n\nBreakfast sandwiches will be available.
