\n Barron is an author\, internationally known speaker and tireless advocate for patient safety. He is also the founder and president of Ridley Barron Ministries in Thompson Station\, Tenn. \;

\n Carrying the power of personal experience\, Barron approaches the subject of patient safety as few can. His message will empower patients\, families\, clinicians and those impacted by adverse medical events. It will leave a lasting impression and offer a unique perspective on patient safety. \;

\n Barron has shared his story at numerous hospitals\, medical conferences and meetings of various professional health organizations from coast to coast. In 2011\, Ridley was nominated for the prestigious Medically Induced Trauma Support Services Award\, which recognizes people who exemplify its mission. He was also a featured speaker at the 2011 Medical Group Management Association Annual Conference in Las Vegas as well as the 2012 Health CoNNect Partners Pharmacy and Radiology Conference in Miami.
