DESCRIPTION:The Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and the Clinton County Port Authority are launching a new three-part workshop series aimed at helping local small business owners and entrepreneurs strengthen their financial position and improve access to funding. The first session\, titled "Become Bankable: How to Position Your Business for Funding Success\," will be held on Thursday\, July 10\, from 9AM to 10:30AM at Southridge Brewing\, 1030 S. South St.\, Wilmington. \n\nThis interactive workshop\, presented in partnership with the Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Miami University Regionals and First Financial Bank\, will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of what it means to be "bankable."\n\nWhy Attend:\n\n\n	\n	Learn how banks actually assess your business and what you can do to prepare.\n	\n	\n	Prepare to have a confident conversation with your business banker.\n	\n	\n	Gain practical knowledge from a real-life case study of "Uncle Jimmy's Bottles LLC."\n	\n	\n	Discover how to improve your creditworthiness and loan-readiness whether you're expanding or just starting out.\n	\n	\n	Connect with local advisors\, bankers\, and fellow business owners.\n	\n	Walk away with a framework to plan for the next opportunity not just react to it.\n\n\nWho Should Attend: \n\nThis workshop is designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs who are looking to grow their businesses\, explore funding options\, or better understand how to build productive banking relationships. \n\n\n\n "Our goal is to help local businesses thrive by giving them the tools they need to succeed when funding opportunities arise\," said Dessie Rogers\, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce.
