The Wilmington/Clinton County Chamber of Commerce invites its members to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Wilmington College on Wednesday\, February \;8\, at 4 p.m. in Pyle Student Center.
\n\nThe event will feature the first public viewing of two newly renovated spaces on the facility'\;s second floor\, the Sidney Mishkin Board Room and Friends Dining Room. A generous gift from the Mishkin family made it possible for the transformation of these rooms into vibrant and engaging spaces for members of the College community.

The late Sidney Mishkin was a 1959 WC graduate and chair emeritus of the Board of Trustees. So great was his impact on his alma mater that the College designated him with the rare honor of "\;Life Trustee."\; Also\, the "\;Friends"\; in the Friends Dining Room inspires a double meaning that will be explained at the ceremony.
\n\nIn addition to the Chamber'\;s traditional ribbon-cutting photo opportunity\, President Trevor Bates will offer brief remarks. Refreshments will be served.
\n\nPyle Student Center is located at 1870 Quaker Way on the eastern side of the campus. Two large adjacent parking lots are directly across the street\, so there will be ample free parking.
