SUMMARY:Wilmington Clean-Up
DESCRIPTION:Our first Wilmington Clean-Up of 2024 will take place on Saturday\, April 20th\, 9:00am. We will be meeting at the Municipal Building at 69 N. South Street on the first floor/entryway. From that location\, we will be creating teams who will be tasked with litter removal\, weed removal\, and other activities from our starting location and into other areas around town in need of some spring TLC.  All supplies will be provided\, and all participants will be required to sign an event waiver.\n\n \n\nWe are excited to be partnering with Main Street Wilmington for this event\, and there will be lunch provided at the events conclusion (more information will be available on 4/20 during sign-in).\n\n \n\nVolunteers are encouraged to sign up so we are able to get a head count of participants- https://forms.gle/BH5pC3Q5VRZGQo58A\n\n \n\nThis is a rain-or-shine event\, so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. There will be a variety of tasks to choose from and all ages and skill levels are welcome! If you have any additional questions\, please let me know! Feel free to forward this information on to other interested participants.\n\n \n\nThanks to your participation\, since its start in 2021 Clean-Up Wilmington has hosted 32 events\, had 520 participants\, and have collected 424 bags of trash and debris from our city.
