This 4-hour workshop helps you develop the Knowledge Skills and Attitudes (KSA) you need to recognize a bad situation before it gets bad\, avoid it when possible\, and protect yourself with the right amount of force in order to accomplish four things\;\n\n\n\n1) Make sure that you make it through the situation safely\n\n2) Make sure that the people you care about make it through the situation safely\n\n3) Avoid doing something illegal in the process\n\n4) Avoid doing something that will result in you being sued and loosing the civil lawsuit\n\n\n\nLearn what actual patterns of violence look like whether stranger\, acquaintance\, or intimate partner\, how to predict and detect them\, and how to stay safe physically and emotionally.\n\n\n\nThis workshop is intended for participants ages 14 and above. This is NOT a martial arts class. This is a realistic training with skills the are effective in a crisis. The skills taught do not depend upon size\, strength\, or a black belt in some funny sounding something or another.
