American Lotus Celebration

There will be free educational naturalist-guided pontoon boat rides into the lotus colonies. Ten food trucks will be there to take care of your hunger needs and 16 craft and business vendors.  New this year will be entertainment provided by Jeff Bowman and Jeremy Francis.  Free activities for the kids including a free art activity.  Park Naturalists will have a display table that shows the various stages of growth of the American Lotus.  Bob Heyob with Horsefeathers Farm will have an albino joey (baby wallaby) along with a fossil display.
