American Lotus Celebration

Naturalist guided pontoon boat rides into the lotus colonies at beautiful Cowan Lake.  Learn about the American lotus and the other plants and animals at Cowan Lake.  There will be about 14 vendors and 4 food trucks on site along with children's activities.  The park naturalists will have animals and information on the American lotus on display.  While there be sure to check out the storybook trail, launch your kayak/canoe from the paddle dock, hike Emerald Woods Trail or fish the Family Fishing Pond or lake.  A great time for the whole family!
