The second public meeting for the Clinton County Hazard Mitigation Plan update will focus on reviewing risk assessments, prioritizing mitigation strategies, and gathering feedback on proposed actions. This meeting is an essential step in identifying how our community can reduce risks from natural and man-made hazards such as severe storms, flooding, and hazardous material incidents.
Meeting Agenda:
Review of Risk Assessments: Understanding the threats Clinton County faces based on historical data and projected trends.
Discussion of Mitigation Strategies: Exploring potential actions to lessen the impact of disasters, including infrastructure improvements, emergency response planning, and community preparedness initiatives.
Gathering Public Feedback: Community input will help refine and prioritize mitigation projects that may be eligible for future federal funding.
Participants will have the opportunity to share insights, ask questions, and ensure that the updated plan reflects the needs and concerns of local residents, businesses, and organizations.
