Cowan Lake Winter Hike

Join us January 26th for our 1st annual Winter Hike!

Guided nature hikes will be offered every 30 minutes starting from the Commissary parking lot. These hikes will take you along the scenic Lake view Trail to see the lake in all its winter splendor!

Along your hike stop by the Naturalist Cabin to see the animals in hibernation and learn why they sleep so long! Bart the Barred Owl and Cali the American Kestrel are wide awake and would love to have visitors!

After hike, warm up inside the Commissary. We will have hot beverages, soups & desserts for purchase!
