Economic Network Alliance: Employment First and the Clinton County Land Reutiliization Corporation

The October 4th meeting of the Economic Network Alliance will feature presentations from both Employment First and the Clinton County Land Reutiliization Corporation ("Land Bank").

Employment First: 

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month and Jan Ferris, Employment First, will inform the Network Alliance on ways in which they can participate. The purpose of National Disability Employment Awareness Month is to educate about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities.

Clinton County Land Reutiliization Corporation:

The Clinton County Land Reutilization Corporation (“Land Bank”) was established in 2016 with a mission to clean up vacant, blighted properties throughout Clinton County and return them to productive use. 

Since its inception, and with a shared commitment to economic and community development, and improving the quality of life in Clinton County, the the Land Bank has partnered with, and is administered by, the Clinton County Regional Planning Commission. Through this partnership, Clinton County has so far received over $1 million to address the issue of vacant and abandoned properties affecting neighborhoods throughout the County.
