Erdman Head Start Health and Recruitment Fair

We will be hosting our annual Health and Recruitment Fair where we will be accepting applications for our FREE preschool program for the year 2026-2027. Head Start serves children ages 3-5, please call 937-382-5624 and ask for details.

WIC will be on site to load benefits to cards (bring your card). Children ages 3-5 will be able to get their physical completed at NO COST.

Head Start is a non-profit. We provide transporation to most of Clinton County. Your child will also recieve meals and snacks free of charge. Head Start does have income guidelines. To apply in person, simply bring your child's birth certificate, shot record, proof of income (w2, SSI, child support, SNAP award letter), custody papers (if applicable), medical card and social security card.

If you are a grandparent with legal guardianship or custody of your grandchild, the child automatically qualifies, and proof of income is not needed (just bring custody papers).
If you receive SNAP benefits--the child automatically qualifies.
If you are homeless--the child automatically qualifies.
We do take 10% of our children who are over income.
Services are provided to children who are on an IEP.
Head Start is a gold rated preschool program.
