Community members are invited to take charge of their financial future this spring through Spring into Financial Freedom, a free three-part educational series led by financial educator Mariah Barber of Financial Freedom.
The series will be held at Bible Baptist Church, 55 Megan Dr, Wilmington, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on three consecutive Mondays: April 27, May 4, and May 11. Each session is designed to build on the last, providing attendees with practical tools and knowledge to better manage, grow, and protect their finances.
The program will cover:
Participants will gain insight into key financial topics including budgeting, saving, debt management, retirement planning, and wealth protection. The series is designed for individuals at all stages of their financial journey—from those just getting started to those looking to strengthen their long-term financial strategy.
“This series is about empowering individuals with the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions,” said Barber. “Whether you're working toward getting out of debt, building savings, or planning for the future, these sessions are designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward.”
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to participate in all three sessions to receive the full benefit of the series and connect with others who are also working toward financial wellness.
