Greater Wilmington HRA to present "Human Trafficking 101"

Topic:  Human Trafficking 101
 

Presenter:  Bhumika Patel, Regional Coalition and Outreach Specialist for the Anti-Trafficking Program of the Salvation Army           

Bhumika educates key community actors about what human trafficking is, how to identify it, and community resources for victims. She also helps people get engaged in the broader human trafficking movement through engagement in the coalition, End Slavery Cincinnati, and through various volunteer opportunities through their program (such as Street Outreach and Training). She works on statewide efforts to develop best practices, reach vulnerable populations, and assist in coalition development and engagement.
