History Center's America250 Student Art Awards Presentation

The History Center invites the community to attend the presentation of awards for the county-wide America250 High School Art Competition on Wednesday, July 1st at 7:00PM during the museum’s America250 Summer Celebration.

This special competition encouraged local high school students to reflect on the themes, people, events, and ideals that have shaped the American story over the past 250 years. Through a variety of 2-D artistic styles and interpretations, participating students explored what America250 means to them and their communities.

During the ceremony, winning student artists will be recognized and cash prizes will be awarded, including:
• 1st Place — $300
• 2nd Place — $200
• 3rd Place — $100

Community members are encouraged to attend and support the creativity and talents of Clinton County’s young artists while celebrating this once-in-a-generation national milestone.

The awards presentation will take place inside the Center's community room as part of the evening’s larger America250 Summer Celebration festivities between 6:00-8:00PM.
