LeaderSip: The Art of Communication

Join Dimalanta, in partnership with the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, for an upcoming LeaderSip session on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Venue, located at 58 W. Sugartree Street in Wilmington.

Titled “The Art of Communication — Understanding Behavior Styles for Effective Communication,” this session will provide a practical look at how different behavior styles influence the way individuals listen, respond, and make decisions in professional settings. Attendees will gain insight into recognizing communication patterns, adapting their approach, and reducing friction in critical conversations.

The session will feature guest speaker Bonita Palmer, who will guide participants through strategies designed to strengthen leadership, improve workplace dynamics, and enhance overall communication effectiveness. Her presentation will focus on helping attendees better understand behavior styles in order to build stronger teams and foster more productive interactions.

LeaderSip is a growing regional initiative that brings together professionals from across Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky, with a focus on strengthening connections between the I-71 and I-75 corridors, including the Cincinnati and Dayton regions. The monthly gatherings are designed to transform local conversations into meaningful regional partnerships, creating opportunities for collaboration and business growth.

Each LeaderSip event features a “micro-masterclass” format, offering high-impact learning opportunities alongside intentional networking. The goal is to provide attendees with actionable insights while fostering connections beyond their immediate local networks.

During the April session, participants will learn how to identify key behavior styles in professional environments, apply strategies to resolve conflict and minimize misunderstandings, and use targeted communication techniques to increase influence and leadership effectiveness.

The event is supported by the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, and Dimalanta.
