Lunch & Learn: Canva 201

Following the success of the “Canva 101” session, the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the next event in our design education series, “Canva 201,” scheduled for Monday, September 23rd. This Lunch & Learn session will provide a more in-depth exploration of Canva, building on the foundational skills covered in the previous event.

Led by Kaitlin Armstrong, Assistant Director of the Chamber, this session is designed for individuals who are already familiar with the basics of Canva and are looking to enhance their design skills. Kaitlin, who holds a degree in Communication Arts with formal training in design and extensive experience using Canva in both professional and volunteer settings, will dive deeper into the software’s advanced tools and features.

What You Will Learn in “Canva 201”:

• Advanced design techniques and tips for creating eye-catching graphics.
• How to use Canva’s premium features, including brand kits, magic resize, and animations.
• Best practices for designing marketing materials, social media content, and print materials.
• Strategies for maintaining brand consistency across various platforms.
• Collaboration tools within Canva for team projects.
• In-depth formatting options for digital and print designs, and saving in various formats.

Event Details:

• Date: Monday, September 23rd
• Location: Wilmington Public Library, 268 North South Street, Wilmington, OH 45177
• Lunch: Provided starting at 11 AM
• Educational Presentation: 11:30 AM to 1 PM
• Fees: $10 per person for Chamber members, $15 per person for non-members

Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop to follow along and actively engage in the training. This event is an excellent opportunity for business owners, marketers, and anyone looking to enhance their digital design skills to gain valuable insights and practical tips.
