Marijuana & Your Drug Free Workplace Program

Employers in both the public and private sectors need to decide how they will respond to medical marijuana. Scheduled to begin on September 8, 2018, the system to recommend and dispense medical marijuana is delayed, but will be functional soon.

To help prepare for this important decision, this program is offered to:

• Raise awareness of business and operational issues from legalization under Ohio HB 523
• Increase understanding of the related drug-free workplace program issues for employers and employees
• Review key decisions that need to be made, particularly relating to policy, operations, and employee/supervisor awareness
