MURPHY THEATRE TO CELEBRATE 95TH ANNIVERSARY

Community invited for FREE ice cream and theatre tours on July 24

In 1916, Charles W. Murphy, Wilmington native and successful businessman, set out to build a monument to himself and his hometown. Now, 95 years after the 1918 opening night, you are invited to celebrate this true Wilmington treasure on Wednesday, July 24. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the theatre will be open for free tours, ice cream, photographs with Charlie Murphy, and more. Take a break from the heat and join us for the party!
