Museum Second Saturday: Author Peter Bronson on General Denver & The Duel that Shaped American History

Join us for a special literary Second Saturday as we welcome author Peter Bronson to the Clinton County History Center on Saturday, August 8th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

A seasoned journalist, editor, and author, Peter Bronson brings decades of experience in storytelling, public commentary, and historical insight. He is the author of ten books, including Magical History Tour, Promised Land, and The Man Who Saved Cincinnati, and spent nearly 20 years as editorial page editor and columnist for The Cincinnati Enquirer, where his work earned statewide recognition for excellence.

During this program, Bronson will share reflections from his writing career, discuss his recent book, and explore the duel that shaped American history - General James Denver vs. Edward Gilbert! Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from the author and ask questions.

Whether you’re a reader, writer, history enthusiast, or simply curious, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with a respected voice in regional and national storytelling.

We hope you’ll join us for this informative and inspiring morning at the History Center!
