Ribbon Cutting for Davids Drive Trail

Clinton County Trails Coalition to Celebrate Completion of Davids Drive Trail

The Clinton County Trails Coalition, in conjunction with the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, to celebrate the completion of the new Davids Drive Trail.

Completed in October, the trail extends the existing Lynn Lane Trail, which begins in the Wilmington City Park and follows Lynn Lane to Davids Drive. The new section continues along Davids Drive to the Lytle Creek Greenway Pavilion, providing another opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy outdoor recreation in the community.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the Lytle Creek Greenway Pavilion trailhead, located at 575 Davids Drive in Wilmington, next door to Wilmington Christian Academy. Parking is available in front of the pavilion.

The project was managed by the City of Wilmington and funded through a Transportation Alternatives Grant from the State of Ohio.

Community members are invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate this addition to Clinton County's growing trail network. The new trail offers an opportunity to walk, run or bike while enjoying the outdoors.
