Sweetheart Hike

Join us for a peaceful 1.5-mile Naturalist-led Sweetheart Hike on Dogwood Trail. A sweetheart can be anyone special to you, including a family member, child, friend, or even a furry companion.

Sweet treats and hot beverages will be available at the Environmental Education Center for donation.  All donations go to the Friends Caring for Cowan Lake State Park.  We will be featuring Kava Haus coffee this year.

We will be making maple syrup from Cowan's maple trees.  Enjoy a sample and learn about how maple syrup is made.

The Nature Center will be open.  Visit Cali an American kestrel and Adena a red-tailed hawk located in the raptor enclosure while you are there.
