TinCap Open House and Ribbon Cutting

TinCap invites you to join them for an Open House Celebration on Friday, June 19th, and Saturday, June 20th, in honor of their one-year anniversary of their 59 West Sugartree Street location and three-year anniversary of their initial opening!

The Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce will hold a formal Ribbon Cutting for TinCap on Friday, June 19th, at 4PM. There will also be a collaborative ribbon cutting between TinCap and their newest neighboring business, Art House, at 11AM on Saturday, June 20th.

Friday’s festivities will include Angela’s Curbside Cuisine Food Truck from 4PM to 9PM, as well as live music from Ves Akimbo and Company from 6PM to 9PM. Saturday’s event will also include live music and the DubTown Smokers Food Truck from 4PM to 9PM.

TinCap will continue their current COVID-19 social distancing and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of all attendees.

TinCap is Clinton County’s Crafted Hard Cider/Winery.  We handcraft delicious hard ciders in Wilmington using local Ohio apples and ingredients.  Our manufacturing and taproom is located in downtown Wilmington at 59 W. Sugartree Street.  Locally owned by Jason and Michelle Vaughan who call Wilmington Home.  TinCap was started in 2016 with a dream, a lot of determination and hard work by Jason and Michelle in their home in Wilmington.  The operation grew from a generational family of home brewers and winemakers to now cider makers.  Jason and Michelle opened their home based winery to the public in 2017 offering 10 Taps of the TinCap in-house handcrafted hard ciders for the public to enjoy in the remodeled tap house in the lower level of their home.  The interest grew along with the passion to create more for TinCap.  We were able to purchase the current property located on Sugartree Street in 2018 and spent nearly a year remodeling it into our new winery and taproom.  TinCap now manufactures approximately 20,000 gallons of hard cider for the taproom and for distribution.  TinCap is a comfortable place for people to come and have a great time while enjoying a hard cider, local craft brew, cocktail, Non-alcoholic beverages and food.  We offer handcrafted pizzas and often have food trucks.  We love to have live music, and entertainment like our live Trivia nights, large TVs for the big game, cornhole and patio games.  The atmosphere at TinCap is friendly and fun.
