The United Way of Clinton County is excited to announce our partnership with Mental Health America to offer Mental Health First Aid training to you and/or your co-workers, AT NO COST. Class will be on Thur- October 10, 2024 9:00-3:30 -717 N Nelson Avenue. We would like to offer this training to you but spots are limited, first come basis so please be sure to sign up asap using link below. This training will especially benefit us that work with adult population.
Mental Health First Aid for adults teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.
This course equips you to recognize the signs of a mental health or substance use issue. It gives you the tools and confidence to take action and help.
