To prepare and cook food to order in a specific station, ensuring timely and consistent top quality. Need to follow recipes, maintain a clean workspace, and work collaboratively with other kitchen staff. Will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of menu items at their assigned station, including tasks like grilling, frying, and plating. Willing to bring ideas and share opinions about new dishes.
-Some experience in a restaurant kitchen
-Current Servsafe Food handling Certification or ability to obtain
-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
-Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
-Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
-Ability to lead by example and keep prep cooks organized
-A desire to work on a team, learn new techniques and to share knowledge with teammates
