Hours of Operation:

Monday through Thursday

1st Shift: 5:00AM - 3:30PM 

 

Job Summary:

Maker’s Pride is looking for a dynamic Logistics Clerk who will have a positive impact on the operations team. As a Logistics Clerk, you will perform shipping duties for the plant, including scheduling, tagging products, and maintaining an organized warehouse.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Checking in drivers
  • Operating forklifts
  • Checking Purchase Orders
  • Scheduling trucks for loading/unloading
  • Preparing shipping documents and entering data on a daily basis
  • Maintain records of all products and orders
  • Verify Seals on trucks
  • Maintain customer shipment files
  • Maintain Open communications with Corporate Customer Service to maximize shipments and minimize problems
  • Work with Plant General Manager and Supervisors to establish load out and shipment schedules and keep them informed on orders (distribute copies, etc.)
  • Coordinate containers, export documents, export documents and shipping documents for export shipments
  • Maintain good relationship with the trucking companies
  • Perform other duties assigned

 

What you’ll need:

 Highschool Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with One to Two years related experience

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Ability to use SAP system and basic windows operation of Word and Excel and GroupWise email system.
