Purpose of Job
The process technician is responsible for mold changes, new mold setup and machine condition changes for quality and cycle time improvements. Maintenance of machines as well.

Schedule/Hours & Additional information
.75 shift Premium for third shift or .50 Shift Premium for 2nd shift
Third Shift 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, 2nd Shift 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Clean Facility

Major Responsibilities
Mold Changes: Complete mold changes, new mold setups, testing and trials.
Break out operators for lunch/breaks.
Adjust machine condition process for quality issues and for testing and trials. Document changes in mold condition change log. Submit changes to documents for control.
Create and update documents as needed. Submit documents to document control for control
Perform minor maintenance on machines, molds and robots.
Complete safety checks and daily paperwork related to mold changes. Participate in daily shift communication meetings. Document activities in daily shift log.
Preventative and Maintenance on Machines

Minimum Experience, Education and Knowledge
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic reading, math and communication skills.
3 years in injection molding experience including mold changes and machine processing. Knowledge of PDCA techniques.
Problem solving, communication and Microsoft Office
Preferred Knowledge, Experience, and Education:

2 years technical degree - mechanical or electrical
3 years injection molding experience including mold changes and machine processing. Knowledge of PDCA techniques
Leadership training or certification
Maintenance Knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.25 per hour
