This position is a customer service position requiring advanced communication skills, basic math skills and basic computer skills. The individual in this position must be capable of greeting the public, answering and directing phone traffic and multi-tasking.
Creates a positive atmosphere with clients and company representatives when they enter the office.
Directs clients and others in person and on the phone.
Maintains corporate calendar and books conference room events.
Takes payments from clients, processes those payments, and documents those payments electronically.
Opens, sorts and scans and sends out all mail and faxes electronically.
Directs downloaded policies and downloaded commissions statements electronically.
Filing, stocking of supplies, and other miscellaneous duties.
Adheres to all automation procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Communication skills, basic math skills, and Word, Excel, Outlook basic knowledge are required. Some related experience preferred but not required; any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and abilities to do the job is accepted. Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and electronically, possess active listening skills, retain knowledge, problem solve and work as a team.
Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
Sits for long periods of time.
This is a public contact position that requires appropriate business apparel.
