Photo Sales Associate
Job Description: Collect memory cards from photographers at each ring. Import and sort images by horse number into numbered folders. Engage with customers in a friendly manner as they enter and throughout their time at Winslow Photography. Assist customers with viewing and purchasing photos. Weekends required. MUST have basic horse knowledge! MUST be detail oriented!
Our goal is for customers to have a pleasant experience while viewing their photos. This requires all of our sales staff to be friendly with a smile on their face.
Hourly wage $14-$19. Paid Training.
Wage listed is the starting wage with room to increase as employee gains knowledge and experience in the role

The Ideal Candidate will be:
-Outgoing enough to start a conversation with the customer that goes beyond showing them how to look at the photos. An extrovert is not required, but a shy introvert will not excel in this position. Our current staff is all very friendly, and some consider themselves introverts. Our sales style is very low pressure. Creating a relationship with the customer that goes beyond just showing them how to view photos is of utmost importance regardless of any purchases they may choose to make.
-Knowledgeable about horses. They do not need to be excellent horsemen/horsewomen, but they do need to know colors, markings, and recognize differences in tack and attire brands (for sorting).
-Willing and Sharp enough to be taught what customers are looking for in a photo (timing-wise) as we often get asked for our opinions, especially from parents and grandparents that don't know much.
-Hard Working: Horse shows run on their own time and we stay open while the show is going on. We do our best to stagger staff so that they are working 8 hour days, but some days will require 10-12 hours if staggering is not possible. The hours can definitely be long and busy. The people that do best in this job are ones that find things to work on when it is slowing down.
-Flexible to sit at a desk, get up and help customers, and walk to and from the rings quickly. The ideal candidate needs to be able to use a mouse and be relatively quick on a computer. They do not need to have any IT skills, but do need to be confident on a PC.
