Purpose of role
The Material Handler supports and enables production to produce finished goods, using critical thinking skills to achieve optimal productivity. Supports inventory control through cycle counts, proper systematic inventory moves, and accountability for all warehouse transactions. Maintains a safe and clean environment utilizing standard operating procedures.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
Follow standard operating procedures and production schedule to supply raw materials and empty finished-goods totes of various types to production lines. Survey production lines to determine components needed and time of need to ensure customer service needs are met and production maintains quotas. Meet or exceed KPI targets as assigned by management. Using a handheld scanner, track the work order, the components and finished good throughout the process. Use pallet jacks, hand carts, and other material handling equipment to transport materials and product throughout the facility. Receive and transfer finished goods from the assembly lines to securely stock them in the finished goods warehouse as directed. Escalate discrepancies to team lead or leadership.
Maintain accurate inventory utilizing FIFO, ERP systems and warehouse processes. Accounts for system transactions and inventory transfers using handheld scanner.
Assist with physical inventory as assigned, providing accurate counts using a handheld scanner or hand tally.

High school diploma or equivalent
