The Grind Celebrates Expansion to Blanchester with Ribbon Cutting and Open House

The Grind, formerly known as Goshen Grind, will celebrate the opening of its second location with a Ribbon Cutting and Open House on Tuesday, March 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The new location is at 142 South Broadway Street, Blanchester, OH 45107.

The community is invited to tour the shop, meet the owners, connect with featured vendors, and enjoy a drink and pastry while learning more about the heart behind the business.

What began nearly 10 years ago in Goshen as a small coffee shop built through hard work, determination, and faith has grown into a community-centered gathering space known as The Grind. The rebrand reflects not only a passion for coffee, but a commitment to grit, heart, and the relationships that have shaped the business since its beginning.

In May, The Grind will celebrate its 10-year anniversary in Goshen — a milestone made possible by loyal customers, local partnerships, and a deep-rooted dedication to community impact. Since 2018, ownership has carried a vision for thoughtful growth while staying true to their founding mission.

That mission includes giving back in tangible ways. Three weeks of tips each month are donated to local teams, families, and causes in need, while the fourth week supports staff members who generously make those donations possible. Supporting the community is not an added feature of the business model — it is central to who they are.

The Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce will join The Grind for an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:15 p.m. during the open house to commemorate both the Blanchester expansion and the company’s continued growth.

The March 31 celebration marks an exciting new chapter for The Grind as it expands its footprint while continuing to pour into the communities it serves.
