Molding Team Lead - 2nd Shift

The Team Lead is responsible for directly supervising and coordinating the daily activities of molding department. Communicates EHS concerns, quality, equipment and scheduling issues. Identifies area for training, continuous improvements and promotes team member adherence to company policies and performance goals. Team Lead will support operations related to interaction with other departments for quality related issues and material.

Leadership: Confirm that operators are following SOP’s and all company and department rules and regulations Support management in supervisors' absence escalating discrepancies or associate issues to management.

Mold Changes: New mold setups including machine conditioning, robot set ups and completing condition sheet documents. Adjust mold machine process parameters for quality related issues. Document all changes.

Daily responsibilities: Communicate all necessary items to department management. Review daily work reports for accuracy. Review assembly return scrap and complete paperwork for proper reporting. Prepare documents as needed for document control. Cover operators for lunch and breaks. Support operators with abnormal situations as they arise.

Associate Relations: Ensure operators are working safely and address all EHS issues immediately. Train and coach associate on processes and any changes. Report any quality and associate related issues to Senior Coordinator. Provides encouragement to team members.
