Responsibilities of Mechanic:
Ground Support Equipment: Inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul all powered and non-powered ground support equipment.
Facility Support: Assist with maintenance for facility or property equipment as needed.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to less experienced mechanics.
Inspection Oversight: Review work quality in the absence of a supervisor.
Flexibility: Work flexible shifts, including overtime and travel as required. Perform both indoor and outdoor tasks.

Requirements of Mechanic:
Skills: Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic diagrams. Proficiency in arc/MIG welding, acetylene welding, and troubleshooting for gas/diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and battery-operated equipment. Experience with tire and wheel changes for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks and meet the demands of the role.

Entry-Level Pay:
Starts at $17/hour for Level 3 entry mechanics, with opportunities for advancement based on skills and experience.
