Material Handler

Crown Staffing is hiring: Material Handler – Wilmington, OH
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $16+/hr
Crown Staffing is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our team in Wilmington. This hands-on role involves moving, loading, unloading, and handling materials within the facility or work site to support production and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Read shop packets, bills of lading, or follow instructions to identify materials to be moved
Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
Move materials to designated storage or work areas and load materials into vehicles as needed
Count, weigh, and record units of materials moved or handled
Operate industrial trucks to assist in moving materials and products
Perform cycle counts of storage locations and inventory
Prepare materials for outside services
Communicate with buyers and engineering regarding materials
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Forklift certification (required in designated areas)
Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform required documentation
Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Basic computer skills
Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Work Environment:
Hands-on work in a manufacturing environment
Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
