The Village of Sabina is accepting resumes for the position of Street Department Supervisor as part of our ongoing workforce planning and infrastructure improvement efforts. Position Summary
Under the direction of the Village Administrator, the Street Department Supervisor manages the daily operations of the Street Department and oversees assigned personnel. This role is responsible for ensuring timely completion of work orders, proper maintenance of equipment, and proactive oversight of Village infrastructure including streets, sidewalks, drainage systems, public spaces, and related facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise street and public infrastructure repairs and improvements
• Oversee lighting and maintenance of public areas
• Maintain tools and equipment with documented inspections and servicing
• Manage and complete work orders in a timely and organized manner
• Ensure department operations meet Village performance expectations
• Adhere to all Personnel Policy and Procedure guidelines
Required Skills & Knowledge
• Working knowledge of municipal infrastructure (roads, buildings, drainage, traffic control, etc.)
• Strong leadership and accountability standards
• Ability to effectively manage staff and workflow
• Organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work collaboratively with Village staff and leadership
