The Village of Sabina is seeking a highly motivated, organized & community-focused professional to serve as Village Administrator. This is a full-time, salaried position that includes on-call responsibilities.
The Village Administrator plays a critical leadership role in overseeing public utilities & municipal operations, working closely with the Mayor, Council, department supervisors, and the public to ensure efficient & effective service delivery.

Position Summary
The Village Administrator manages public utilities & oversees the Street Department, Water Treatment, Waste Water Treatment, & Utilities operations.
The Administrator:
- Supervises maintenance of public places, streets & sidewalks
- Oversees utility operations & associated regulations
- Manages work orders & departmental coordination
- Addresses public inquiries & complaints
- Serves as project manager for ongoing Village initiatives
- Attends meetings & functions as required
- Works collaboratively with all department supervisors & Village employees
- Performs duties with minimal supervision
The Village Administrator is appointed by the mayor, subject to Council approval & may appoint employees as authorized by Council with the Mayor's approval.
The position requires regular availability outside normal business hours & includes on-call responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee & manage the Street Department
- Oversee & manage Water & Waste Water Treatment operations
- Oversee & manage Utilities operations
- Manage & post work orders to all departments
- Receive & respond to public inquiries & complaints
- Coordinate departmental actions to resolve customer concerns
- Serve as Project Manager for Village-initiated projects
- Attend meetings & community functions as required
- Work alongside department supervisors & employees
- Perform assigned duties independently

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must possess, at minimum, a Class I Water License & Class II Wastewater License, OR be willing to obtain required licensing through additional education.
- Strong organization, management, & communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with the public
- Computer proficiency & familiarity with associated software programs
- Ability to handle stress effectively
- Independent decision-making ability

- Valid Driver's license
- Reliable transportation
