The Village of Sabina is currently accepting resumes for the position of Utilities Department Assistant as part of our succession planning efforts and preparation for upcoming retirements within the department. Position Summary
Under the direction of the Utilities Department Supervisor, this position assists with the daily administrative operations of the Utilities Department office.
Essential Responsibilities
• Answer phone and assist customers
• Accept and process utility payments (in-person, mail, and drop box)
• Post end-of-day payments and prepare bank deposits
• Process payments and billing support
• Assist with monthly billing and shut-offs
• Support additional projects as assigned
• Maintain adherence to Personnel Policy and Procedures
Required Skills
• Proficiency with computers and Windows software
• Basic typing skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with department staff
• Professional and positive public-facing demeanor
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
•Reliable transportation
